Overview

A vitamin is an organic compound required as a nutrient in tiny amounts by an organism. A compound is called a vitamin when it cannot be synthesized in sufficient quantities by an organism, and must be obtained from the diet. Thus, the term is conditional both on the circumstances and the particular organism. For example, ascorbic acid functions as vitamin C for some animals but not others, and vitamins D and K are required in the human diet only in certain circumstances.

Vitamins are classified by their biological and chemical activity, not their structure. Thus, each "vitamin" actually refers to a number of vitamer compounds, which form a set of distinct chemical compounds that show the biological activity of a particular vitamin. Such a set of chemicals are grouped under an alphabetized vitamin "generic descriptor" title, such as "vitamin A," which (for example) includes retinal, retinol, and many carotenoids. Vitamers are often inter-convertible in the body. The term vitamin does not include other essential nutrients such as dietary minerals, essential fatty acids, or essential amino acids, nor does it encompass the large number of other nutrients that promote health but are otherwise required less often.

Getting in Shape After 50 - Easier Than You May Think

You are older than 50 years. No sense to communicate with you, what happens when one grows older. You're there. They have been around the block, been there, done that.

Now you think, you get in shape, but when you come home after a long day, you are too tired. Excuses are your specialty. Sure, if you were in shape, but that was when you had no problems or fewer problems. Perhaps you were never in the form. You want, but you do not know where to start.

There is some good news, but you have to the TV. The field is insidious theft of your life away. Before you know it, you are dead, and all you will be sorry. Turn off the life sucking, brain matter from vaporizing. You need one or two weeks to decide. That is OK, but the decision. Does that mean you never know what turn the silly again? No, of course not. But it does mean it will last priority. LAST priority. We suggest that you have the decision to pull the plug and move to the next decision. It's about your attitude. It sucks. I know you're 50 years old or perhaps even worse, 60 Could it be that you are 70? Egads.

Who cares? Nobody but you. If you are looking and feeling like Jack LaLanne They are proud of your age. Everything starts with a great attitude, not a good attitude, a great attitude. Some of you take comfort in like Garfield and his dark mood down. I think he is funny too. But when it comes to getting into shape, I will kick his little ass cat every time.

So we think again. They turned off the TV and you have to decide on the fit. Your attitude is not large, but are you willing to work. It will be better. Who feels great when your body breaks down?

What are your goals? Is your goal to lose 50 lbs. Perhaps your goal is to increase insulin or blood pressure medicine. Whatever your goal is to write it. Write it on. When do you want to achieve your goal? Remember that not the weight on in a week, so do not expect to make it in a week. Figure lose about one pound per week if you make it right. Doing it right would mean that the fat, but the muscles. Kabish? Since muscle weighs three times more than fat, it is not so easy to lose 50 lbs, is not it? That's all right. If your blood sugar and pressure you, and you will be installed in the 36 to 38s, then you are okay. Nevertheless, we all, as the scale, a little brighter, Y'know.

Ok, so if we lose 50 lbs. and it lasts for one week a pound of your target should look something like this: "I'm losing 50 pounds by April 30, 2010."

Now you can. Yeah, right. Now you can work to make this happen. Forget all the "try this, try that" solution. Here is your plan. Exercise more and eat less. Exercise more and eat less.

The details should flush some of it. Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a Pauper. Drink 8 glasses of water throughout the day. Eat fruit in the morning and vegetables in the afternoon. Walk 1 hours at least 4 times a week. Well, here's the tricky part. Get a partner. I go with my daughter. With 16-year-old girls, what they are today, I do not expect you have much success. I have a few years ago, so they now brainwashing. How about your partner? You can talk .... or not. After a few months you need a partner. Get a.

There is a lot more but those are the basics.

Here is the conclusion: I live in health care whether I will or not. I worked in the healthcare industry for 20 years, first as a personal trainer who owned a fitness center and then as an owner in ten disciplines clinics. Now I have the market for home health companies, the elderly, a foundation, a PT and a Training Association for Health Trainers. My head hurts. Let me tell you that your health care coverage is even worse, much worse. Your health plan is to encourage you a lot more aggressively to shape, since health costs are through the roof. You get in better shape. Yes, I know it's funny how you are allergic to move and all, but it is not funny when your doctor tells you that you have diabetes, or you better not to disturb, because your blood pressure is so high that you risk a heart attack.

Get into shape. You will be amazed and if you are half way there your family will love it too. Get off the couch, turn off the television and move. Another thing to eat less, are you? You can not control themselves?

You may have noticed that I repeated myself a lot in this article. I also have discussions on Alzheimer's disease, and if you have more than 50 receive it. Get in shape and to grow brain cells. You can thank me later.

God bless!
