Overview

A vitamin is an organic compound required as a nutrient in tiny amounts by an organism. A compound is called a vitamin when it cannot be synthesized in sufficient quantities by an organism, and must be obtained from the diet. Thus, the term is conditional both on the circumstances and the particular organism. For example, ascorbic acid functions as vitamin C for some animals but not others, and vitamins D and K are required in the human diet only in certain circumstances.

Vitamins are classified by their biological and chemical activity, not their structure. Thus, each "vitamin" actually refers to a number of vitamer compounds, which form a set of distinct chemical compounds that show the biological activity of a particular vitamin. Such a set of chemicals are grouped under an alphabetized vitamin "generic descriptor" title, such as "vitamin A," which (for example) includes retinal, retinol, and many carotenoids. Vitamers are often inter-convertible in the body. The term vitamin does not include other essential nutrients such as dietary minerals, essential fatty acids, or essential amino acids, nor does it encompass the large number of other nutrients that promote health but are otherwise required less often.

Health and Nutrition - The Myth of Perfection

I have said, and it heard it countless times,? I will do my program, if the location is perfect? or? I will be the beginning of next week, I? ve already fallen is my program?. At times, as we all seem to deal with the idea of being perfect. What do I want to work with you is that not perfect is a myth. It is not possible. You have days, your program will fall and you can experience challenges. What is your success is how fast you back on the right track and how fast you solutions. I said the same thing many times before: It? S does not start or stop, just do. This idea took me many years to understand and accept.

As Collegiate Athletes and fitness model, I have so much pressure on me to be perfect, always 100% compatible, to ignore what cards life dealt me, all with the idea that perfection in my diet & exercise, I would like happy to make mistakes and would mean that I? m not. What I learned is the exact opposite. Errors are a part of life. You? Once again, the way we learn.

As you can see, life is a process of many moments, some amazing and challenging. Your health is a priority in your life is also a process. As you through this process you learn new things, then set it as you go. This is the path to progress and development, and how you will reach your goals. For example, I have worked with many customers, too much food in a restaurant and /or have too many alcoholic beverages. They chose the moment to enjoy, and they have nothing wrong, the choice is a part of life. The successful customers evaluate the decisions which it and see if something in the meal would have been adjusted. They would

then immediately back on the right track and moving ahead with the understanding that the occasional meal out is only part of the process. Unfortunately, a few customers would be that the same event, and consider it a mistake, because they weren? Perfect T, which act as a catalyst to their health into a downward spiral. Customers who tried to fight for something that isn? T possible to perfection. They lived in the all or nothing? Mentality, as I did for many years. With this attitude, you? Re 100% either on or off.

The way you can pause, the mentality is that you accept that perfection is a myth. If you choose to accept it and the possibility of achieving your health goals a reality. Durable success with your health takes time and is hard work, education, pace yourself and find enjoyment in the process. I invite you to make that choice today, and do not forget? Is it not to start or stop, just do. If you? Ve finally has this mindset, you feel much less pressure to achieve more than you could ever imagine, and have a good time to make!
